Cambridge University Visit
Sixth form students from the King Alfred School enjoyed a two day visit to the University of Cambridge. Staying overnight at Trinity Hall in order to experience undergraduate life, the sixth form students also participated in masterclasses and enjoyed tours of several other colleges including King's College, Christ's College, Sidney Sussex College and Clare College. The students also received top tips on making competitive applications and preparing for the assessment and interview process. Following the visit the students are buzzing with excitement and ideas for their own applications for the 2018 university entry as they wish to emulate famous Cambridge students such as Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking and Burnham's very own Bethan Marshall who has just finished her second year reading Natural Sciences.
